Willard Weslie Haeber, age 86, of Tivoli, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2013. He was born April 3, 1927 in Tivoli to the late Morris and Olga Toppel Haeber.
Willard joined the United States Air Force in 1944 at the age of 17, and was a self-employed welder and a farmer. After retirement, he loved fishing and spending time with friends. He enjoyed just riding around and took his dog, Socks, with him on many occasions. He lived life to the fullest, and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

Willard Weslie Haeber, age 86, of Tivoli, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2013. He was born April 3, 1927 in Tivoli to the late Morris and Olga Toppel Haeber.
Willard joined the United States Air Force in 1944 at the age of 17, and was a self-employed welder and a farmer. After retirement, he loved fishing and spending time with friends. He enjoyed just riding around and took his dog, Socks, with him on many occasions. He lived life to the fullest, and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his daughter, Sandra Lynn Mibbs of Arkansas; sisters, Opal Lenhart, Melba Lenhart, both of Tivoli, Dela Banks of Austwell; sister-in-law, Virginia Haeber of Tivoli; brother, Nolan Haeber of Victoria; granddaughters, Sabrina Alexander of Port Lavaca, Roberta Lynn Hackworth of Illinois; grandsons, Robert Grantland of Port Lavaca, and Lee Yaklin, Jr. of Illinois; nineteen great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and his long-time friend and care-giver, Lupeo Garcia.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Leola (Lee) Colleen Haeber; daughter, Sharon Grantland; granddaughter, Anjanette Grantland Crawford; twin brother, Leonard Haeber; brothers, Roy and Connelly Haeber; and sisters, Velma Haeber, Coella Cochrum, Olivia Walker, and Lucille Snider.
Visitation will be held 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at Colonial Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery with full military honors under Auspices of Victoria County Veterans Council, AL, CWV, VFW, DAV, MCL, MOWW, Ex-POW, MOPH, VVA and the KWV.
Serving as pallbearers will be Benny Banks, Allan Roach, Steve Haeber, David Haeber, Craig Lenhart, and Darrel Lenhart. Honorary pallbearers include Lupeo Garcia, Doug Wahlshaw, Matias Canalas, David Rathcamp, and Brian Roach.
