Albert Jaeger, age 94, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2011. He was born May 8, 1917, in Davy, Texas to the late Adolph and Annie Ermler Jaeger. He served in the United States Army during World War II. He was retired from Alcoa after 25 years of service.

He is survived by his wife, Victoria Broll Jaeger; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins and their families.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Adolph Jaeger Jr., Adam Jaeger, and Edmond Jaeger; and sisters, Lillie Jaeger, Hulda Jaeger, Lydia Hengst, Milda...

The family would like to thank Accolade Hospice, Cuero Hospital, Whispering Oaks Manor, and Dr. Mark Heard for their special care and support.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm Tuesday, and the funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm Tuesday at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel in Victoria. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery with military honors under Auspices of Victoria County Veterans Council, AL, CWV, VFW, DAV, MCL, MOWW, Ex-POW, MOPH, VVA and the KWV.
